Acts of Piety

The lush jungle spills down to the banks of the river and follows it up into the desert. The mix of terrains is both beautiful and dangerous, and the muddy waters of the river hide peril of their own.

Acts of Piety is a large map in the spirit of Creep and Desert. There are two starts and a ton of units. All game types are available, with the exception of hunting.

There is a “new” unit, a re-appearance by an old unit remodeled, and even a single player/co-op mesh!

Culloden Hill

This windswept heath is where Bonnie Prince Charlie’s men were defeated by the Duke of Cumberland, known forever after as “The Butcher”. One thousand two hundred Highlanders lost their lives here on the morning of April 16th, 1746. Buried in mass graves, they are remembered through stones which bear the names of their clans.

The Culloden Hill plug-in for Myth II Soulblighter was inspired by both the battle in 1746, and by the landscape around Inverness in Scotland. Included in the plug-in are two meshes, light and dark. Both meshes have two starts and plenty of units, so bring a few friends–or enemies–and team up for battle.

Crypt of the Taken

Crypt Of The Taken—A graveyard permeated with the stench of evil becomes the last battleground against the Taken. This Free-For-All map has five starts and four meshes, Temple of the Taken (light), Crypt of the Taken (dark), Doom of the Taken (Slugfest), and Riot for the Taken (dwarf riot).

On Crypt of the Taken, playing at legendary difficulty gives each team a Forest Giant and a Fetch. Myrmidon is complements of Malory (and the conversion is fantastic)! Chikatilo converted the FG.

Flood on the Plains

Flood On The Plains is a fairly straight forward conversion of Demise on the Plains. Rains have come, grass has covered the plains, and water has filled the canyon. Lot’s of water, steep inclines, and plenty of mayhem. PoohBear’s Complaint is a twilight conversion of the flood mesh, with a mix of units requested by—you guessed it—PoohBear. :-)

Winter Of Your Discontent

Winter Of Your Discontent is a medium-sized map with four variations. Set on a glacier high in the Cloudspine, the howling wind and swirling snow make every attack a little less predictable. Lots of attention was paid to the ambient sound (among other things). Turn those speakers up!

  • Classic: 5 starts. Archers, durfs, ghol, j-men, thrall, warriors, wights.
  • Slugfest: 5 starts. Durfs, thrall, wights.
  • Team Classic: 2 starts. Units same as above, just more of them.
  • Team Slugfest: 2 starts. Units same as above, just more of them.
